The Royal Motor Inn decidedly failed to impress. My room was almost unbearably cold due to the broken AC, and the water wasn’t even warm enough to relax. I expected at least a complimentary upgrade for my troubles, but I guess that’s too much to ask here. I simply couldn’t give this place a good review after that.

Solo travelers welcome, not too shabby

The room was cleaner than I expected, like maybe it's older but still nice inside! I also appreciated the owners, they were friendly and helpful, seemed like they actually cared about my stay.

Not cheap for what I got, but I guess it was still a decent price for the area.

the best part about this place is being able to walk downtown to explore a variety of cafes and shops. The nearby parks are perfect for a quick break from the city buzz, making it an ideal spot for those who love weekend city strolls like I do.

We had a fun time exploring the nearby Ladd Marsh with our kids, watching birds and getting some fresh air. The location was decent for our family's needs, and we appreciated the good price for a family-friendly venue.

My wife says that the bedding felt old and questionable.

The room was super clean, and I really appreciated how quickly the couple running the place fixed my desk chair issue. They don’t offer breakfast, but I enjoyed my morning coffee in the garden and also had a relaxing soak in the tub. The towels could use some upgrading, but overall, it was a cozy stay! 😊

The location was fantastic, close to downtown and within walking distance of fun activities. Despite its age, the room was clean and the bed was cozy, which made for a good night's sleep.

The amenities were lacking, with no soap or spare toilet paper upon arrival.
